The Walking Dead: No Man's Land is a tactical, turn-based game based on The Walking Dead universe, where players recruit and upgrade survivors to fight through hordes of walkers and complete missions. Combining strategy, resource management, and iconic characters from the series, players must build a strong team and base to survive in a post-apocalyptic world. As the Senior Community Manager, I am in charge of all matters regarding Community and communication.

Milestones

  • Growing Discord from a little less than 2,000 users to more than 35,000 users within a year through announcements and promotional events.
  • Created advisory game direction preparations for updates tying into new The Walking Dead spin-off shows (Dead City, Daryl Dixon, The Ones Who Live), based on feedback and suggestions. Implementations of these suggestions, and later on press releases, website announcements, and social media announcements (including AMC's official The Walking Dead social channels) caused significant player increases during these periods.
  • Leading all communication during the release of TWD: No Man's Land for PC on Epic Games Launcher and Steam, and maintaining a positive reception of over 80% within the first 6 months.
  • Community programs created: support for player events, Content Creator program.
  • Launched: official PC launch, TWD: Dead City update, TWD: Daryl Dixon update, TWD: The Ones Who Live update, TWD: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol update, TWD: Dead City Season 2 update.

Partner Program

  • Setting up guidelines for Youtubers to join our Partner Program with content sharing through social media.
  • Collecting statistics on partners for retention rate and KPI purposes.​​​​​​​
  • Organizing partner-exclusive content like early sneak peeks on upcoming content.​​​​​​​
